After six years of coming close to being named Miss Jaycees International, Antigua and Barbuda has captured the crown of the 56th Annual Jaycees International Queen Show.
After a night of intense competition, she was crowned the regions newest queen after claiming two of the five judged segments, Best Performing Talent and Best dressed for evening wear.
Tyler Theophane hailing from St. Lucia was adjudged the 1st runner-up while St. Vincent & the Grenadines Jimelle Roberts captured the 2nd– runners up position along with topping the Best modelling skills in evening wear category.
Katherina Davis from St. Kitts won the Best in Swimwear segment, while Miss Anguilla Carencia Rousse won the interview segment.
In the non-judged segments, Trinidad and Tobago’s Jenelle Thongs was adjudged Miss Congeniality and was also deemed as the delegate who stayed true to the theme. 1st runner-up Tyler Theophane hailing from St. Lucia was awarded Most Photogenic.
Fifteen contestants took part in the 56th instalment of the Jaycees International Queen Show, held under the theme “Nature’s Beauty, A celebration of the Environment.”
The top five delegates were Miss Antigua and Brabuda Ayana Dorsett, Miss St. Lucia Tyler Theophane, Miss Jimelle Roberts, Miss Anguilla Carenica Rouse, Miss St. Vincent & the Grenadines Jimelle Roberts and Miss. St. Kitts Katherina Davis.
