The Government will be working with local authorities to have the body of cruise passenger Susan Robin of Conroe Texas sent back the United States after a snorkeling activity ended in tragedy on Monday.
Reports indicated that the 62 year old US citizen who arrived in Antigua aboard the Royal Princess went on an excursion on Wadadli Cats where she experienced difficulties while snorkeling.
Efforts were made to resuscitate her but however proved futile and she was pronounced dead around 11:00am. President of the Cruise Tourism Association Nathan Dundas expressed condolences to the family.
He said that the Government is working feverishly to have the body flown back to the US.
