Police are appealing to the country’s latest Homicide suspect to turn himself in.

Omarley Henry, aka “Drop Sleep” of Perry Bay fled the scene of a wounding incident which left a 22yrs old Sherice Henry of Christian Street, Grays Farm dead.

Henry was pronounced dead at the Mount St. Johns Medical Center, shortly after she arrived there with multiple wounds about her body.

The deceased reportedly went to the home of Omarley Henry, the father of her 4yr old daughter to collect her child, who apparently was spending time with him.

It is alleged that an argument ensued between both parties, which led to Henry arming himself with a sharp object, which he used to inflict several wounds about the victim’s body. He later fled the scene and is still at large. The alleged incident occurred around 7:45 pm on Monday.

ZDK news understands that the suspect had a pending kidnapping case in the Magistrate court involving the same deceased but was granted bail. It is alleged that it is not the first time that Omarley has been accused of kidnapping.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding incident. The police also made an appeal for Omarley Henry to surrender himself immediately at any police station accompanied by a family member or his attorney.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts is also asked to contact the nearest police station, or call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913\14.
