Police Issues Caution to Perpetrators of Sexual Offense against Women

The Police have issued a stern warning to the perpetrators responsible for a number of sexual offense reports that have been received by female residents of the Potters community over recent periods.

In these reports, a particular trend has been identified by the police, which suggest that male perpetrators wearing black masks are venturing to break into the homes of female residents and committing the act.

As an immediate response, the police have since heightened their surveillance efforts to address these reports.

The Commissioner of Police has reassured that these heinous activities will not be tolerated and that the applicable measures will be considered.

He confirmed that the police are in receipt of descriptions fitting male suspects wearing black masks and added that efforts will not be spared in apprehending the responsible individuals.

The police also use this opportunity to issue a stern warning to the responsible perpetrators, to desist from such practice.

Meanwhile, the law enforcement officials are appealing to members of the general public, who may have information that can assist their investigations, to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 / 14. Persons can also report this information to the nearest police station.

The Police administration also encouraged persons to be extremely vigilant at nights and ensure that their homes are properly secured.

Meantime a special investigative team has been tasked with looking into a report of Sexual Assault made against an Officer last Thursday.

The officer in question allegedly identified as Corporal Otis Archibald, the lead Police prosecutor, in the case of the Board of Education vs Dame Giselle Issac and Algernon “Serpent” Watts.

The allegations are that the police officer molested a female minor in July of this year.  It is reported that the said minor reported the matter to her father after she tried to break off the said illegal relationship but her life was threatened by Corporal Archibald.

According to a Stratcom release, the report is one that is regarded by the Police Administration to be very serious and as such, a special investigative team have since been assigned to conduct investigations into the matter.

As part of their investigations, the said minor has been examined by a Medical Doctor and a number of statements have already been recorded.

The Police Administration confirmed that the alleged offender is currently off-duty on sick leave.
