The two Vincentian nationals arrested and charged for hashish related offences, were denied bail and further remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until their immigration status checks out.

27-year-old Junior Forde of Hodges Bay and 33-year-old Curtis Williams made their first court appearance on Wednesday where they pleaded not guilty to the offences.

During a drug bust at an apartment complex in the Creekside area on Sunday, both men were arrested after three packages of hashish oil with a combined weight of 8lbs 6ozs were allegedly found in their possession.

The men were later charged with Possession of Hashish Oil, Possession with Intent to Supply Hashish Oil and Being Concerned in the Supply of Hashish Oil.

Attorneys John Fuller and Sheffield Bowen made bail application for their clients however; it was objected by prosecution until the status of the two is verified.

They were subsequently remanded back to prison until today.
